How much is tuition?
The tuition rate for the up-coming 2012-2113 academic year forPreK is $4,275.00 per year and for grades K-8 is $3,800.00 per year.   Tuition may be paid in full at the start of the academic year or billed over a ten month period through a management agency.

Is financial aid available?
Yes, need-based scholarship monies are available through the Diocese of Providence and directly from St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Academy.  Some parishes also grant tuition assistance for parishioners, contact your local parish priest.  All financial aid applications must be completed and submitted for review by February 14 for the next academic year.

How many students are enrolled at the Academy?
At the start of the academic year 2011-2012, there are 167 students enrolled in Grades Pre-K 3 – 8.  There is one class each for Grades Pre-K 3 – 8.

Is there a full-day Pre-K and Kindergarten Program?Yes, there is a full-day Pre-K 3 and 4 Program as well as a full-day Kindergarten Program.  A student entering Pre-K 3 must be 3 years of age on or before Sept. 1 of that year.  A child entering Pre- K 4 must be 4 years of age on or before Sept. 1 of that year.  A student entering Kindergarten must be 5 years of age on or before Sept. 1 of that year.

Is there a Middle School Program?Yes, Grades 6 – 8 occupy the third floor of the Academy and enjoy an integrated Middle School curriculum including Art Education, Computer Technology, Music, Family Life,  Physical Education, and Spanish.

Do you have a hot lunch program?Yes, students may purchase a hot lunch for $3.00 per day, which includes milk.  A monthly lunch menu is published in the monthly newsletter.

Do you have an After School Program?Yes. The After School Program from 2:15 – 5:30 p.m., serves a snack, provides various activities for children and is available during school days for students in students in Grades Pre-K 4. Our After School Program is licensed by the Department of Children, Youth, and Families. Rates are $60.00 per week, per child, or $12.00 per day, per child. For those who register on an as needed basis, $20.00 per week, per child, or $4.00 per day, per child for the special thirty (30) minute service. A $25.00 registration fee is required for any student participating in the program.

What time does school begin and end?Students may enter the building beginning at 7:45 a.m., and report directly to their classroom where their teacher will greet them.  School begins at 8:00 a.m.

For Grades Pre-K 3 – Kindergarten the school day ends at 2:20 p.m., Grades 1-8 end at 2:30p.m.

Is there a Dress Code?Yes, all students are required to wear the Academy uniform, which is delineated in the Parent/Student Handbook.  Uniforms are purchased directly through Donnelly’s School Apparel in Providence, RI.

Are there extra-curricular activities?
Yes, we offer a vibrant sports program, which includes cross-country, basketball, soccer and volleyball.  We offer a Drama program, Chorus, Environmental Club, Science Fair and Olympiads, Math Challenges and Olympiad and a myriad of other activities.

Is it possible to visit the Academy?
Yes, we encourage and welcome you to arrange for a visit.  Prospective students are invited to come and “shadow” another student for the day.  Visits may be arranged by contacting the Main Office.
